The capital of Bhutan is Thimphu (former capital was Punakha) and the total population in 2002 was ~750,000. 85% of the people are Buddhist Drukpas of Mongoland Tibetan origin and the national language is Dzongkha. The country is barely 100 miles wide and 200 miles long.
