Three Tunisian men accused of terrorism links by Italian prosecutors arrived in Milan under heavy security after being extradited from Britain. Habib Ignaoua, Mohamed Khemiri and Ali Chehidi were arrested in the London and Manchester areas last year as part of coordinated raids across Europe against an alleged Italian-based network recruiting fighters for Iraq and Afghanistan. Tunisians cast ballots for president and parliament in elections expected to hand another landslide victory to incumbent leader Zine El Abidine Ben Ali (73), who warned opponents they would face legal retaliation if they questioned the elections' fairness. Pres. Zine El Abidine Ben Ali was re-elected for a fifth 5-year term with an overwhelming 89% of the vote, his weakest performance yet but more than enough to show his solid grip on the nation.
